CourtBoard

Terms of service

Last updated 24 August 2026

These terms govern the use of CourtBoard. By creating an office you accept them.

What CourtBoard is

CourtBoard is software for recording hearings, tracking next dates, and organising case files. It is a record-keeping tool. It is not a source of official court information, and it does not provide legal advice. Dates and details in the app are the ones your office enters. Always verify against the court's own cause list and records — responsibility for appearing on the correct date remains with the advocate.

Accounts

The person who creates an office becomes its owner and may add or deactivate staff. Sign-in is by mobile number and one-time password; keep your phone and number secure, as anyone with them can reach your office's data.

Subscription and payment

Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel at any time by writing to the address below; access continues to the end of the period already paid for. Because the trial lets you evaluate the product fully before paying, part-period refunds are not usually given — but write to us if something has gone wrong and we will deal with it fairly. The full refund & cancellation policy is published separately.

What happens to your data if you stop paying

Cancelling locks the board and the diary; it deletes nothing. Everything is kept for twelve months, so subscribing again restores the office exactly as it was. After twelve months the office's records are deleted permanently, and we warn you thirty days and seven days before that date. Deleting your account from within the app removes everything immediately instead.

Your data stays yours

Your office's cases, clients and documents belong to your office. We claim no ownership and will not use them to train anything or sell them to anyone. We access them only when you ask us to for support, or where the law requires.

Acceptable use

Do not upload anything unlawful, attempt to reach another office's data, or interfere with the service's operation. Accounts doing so may be suspended.

Availability

We work to keep CourtBoard available and reliable, but it is provided "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted service. Much of the app works offline, and entries made without a network sync when connectivity returns.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, CourtBoard's liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at Deesa, Banaskantha, Gujarat having jurisdiction.
